2025 is the Year Where Style Inspirations and Intentional Shopping
These ladies represent the freedom of easy and fun I would like to bring to my dressing in 2025.
I’ve always had a deep appreciation for beautiful things. In my teenage years, I collected watches, books, and hats—treasures that brought me joy and told little stories of their own. Collecting has always been second nature to me, but over time, my love for finding beauty has led to an overflowing closet and a storage unit packed to the brim.
This year, I’m shifting my focus. Instead of holding onto items that no longer resonate with me, fit my life, or meet my standards of quality, I’m embracing a more intentional approach to my wardrobe. My goal is to curate a collection of pieces that truly bring me joy, stand the test of time, and align with my commitment to sustainability.
For me, sustainability means be smart and cautious about the items I buy from fast fashion and embracing vintage—a return to my roots. Growing up, thrift stores were a regular ritual with my mom, Mama Kathy. Whether it was Goodwill, Salvation Army, or Red, White, and Blue Thrift, we were there, sifting through racks every Saturday and sometimes during the week. Those experiences shaped my love for vintage and resale, and it’s a tradition I cherish deeply.
This year, I’m focusing on using the items that I have in my closet and in storage while adding unique, quality, and versatile pieces to my wardrobe. Think vintage statement coats with intricate details, heirloom-quality jewelry, or one-of-a-kind accessories that feel like wearable art. Whether they’re vintage, secondhand, or new, every addition will reflect my commitment to quality, individuality, and enduring style.
Here some outfits and pieces that are inspiring me for 2025 so far.
These outfit inspirations and pieces are shaping the narrative of my 2025 Style Story—a blend of ease, beauty, and a hint of playfulness infused with unique finds that stand out. They are coming together to create a personal tapestry reflecting my love for fashion.
